Khloe Kardashian has opened up about how life was during those emotionally gruelling days after ex Lamar Odom was found unconscious at a legal Nevada brothel.
As Lamar lay in hospital critically ill, Khloe has revealed how she became so attached to his bedside, she didn't leave his room - not even to take a shower.
"I literally didn't leave the room for a month," Khloe explained to* People* Magazine. "I wasn't sleeping as well. I went a week without showering" she continued. Khloe also said "Mentally, it took its toll. But it wasn't about me. I realized how much it was about Lamar so I didn't think twice about it".
As previously reported, Khloe was forced to give up her strict workout regime during the first month of Lamar's hospitalisation - an aspect that made her feel even more anxious about the situation. She added, "Normally, when I'm going through stuff, I have my release of energy or stress at the gym. But my mind didn't have that release. I was like "I can't breathe". I had to switch gears. I was like "I know I'll get back to the gym, I know I'll get that release, but for now, what's my therapy? I had to remember that even though something tragic was going on, I still needed a few minutes. I was like "Okay I need to take a shower". Just the little things make you feel so much better. I had to learn to take care of myself".
Lamar continues to recover after leaving hospital, and even appeared in his sons sweet Instagram snap at Christmas.
