Kim Kardashian’s love life seemed to go very quiet after she split from comedian Pete Davidson in the summer of 2022 – until Odell Beckham Jr came onto the scene, that is. The reality star and the NFL player were first linked in September 2023, but what started as a case of “hanging out” has now progressed into the hottest new A-list romance.
The couple were recently photographed together for the first time, following reports that they had been “secretly seeing each other” for months. Despite rocking up to a Vegas Super Bowl party separately, they didn’t manage to escape the ever-watchful eyes of the paparazzi, who snapped them returning to The Wynn hotel together. And, we’re told, Kim’s sister Khloé Kardashian has not held back from giving her opinion on the romance – having dated the Baltimore Ravens player herself.
“Khloé is shocked that Kim is taking Odell seriously,” says our source.
“She thought he was a nice enough guy, but he can definitely be a bit of a player, and she can’t believe Kim’s choosing to ignore that. She swears this isn’t jealously, she just doesn’t want to see her sister treated the way she was. Kim seems to think Odell has changed, but it’s clear to Khloé that he’s still the same as he ever was and she has told Kim that he’s not to be trusted.”
In 2016, Khloé was snapped looking cosy with Odell, sitting on his lap at Drake’s Memorial Day pool party an outing that came after they had allegedly spent time together at Scott Disick’s birthday days earlier. At the time, sources said they were “definitely into each other” and “looked like a couple”.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Kim – who shares North, ten, Saint, eight, Chicago, five, and four-year-old Psalm with ex-husband Kanye West – was keen to keep her budding relationship with Odell low-key to avoid growing speculation he ended his relationship with ex Lauren Wood to be with her.
Odell and Lauren have a two-year-old son, Zydn, and were together for four years before news of their split broke in September, around the same time that stories first emerged he and Kim were growing close.
And, after it was widely alleged that Odell, 31, went to a strip club the night before being pictured with Kim, 43, at the Super Bowl, there are too many red flags for Khloé. We’re told, “Kim’s not listening to Khloé and it’s causing a lot of friction between them.”
