You’d think that after all of that hard work and pouting, Kiera Knightley would be able to hiss, “Do you know who I am?” and people would just cower submissively and mumble, “yes”.
But it turns out poor Kiera still gets mixed up with other Hollywood actresses like Rachel Weisz, Natalie Portman and Anne Hathaway.
The Imitation Game star, 29, admitted to having “one of those faces” even after being in showbusiness for 21 years.
She told The Australian Daily Telegraph that she needs to apologise to Anne Hathway after refusing to give an autograph as her: “The woman thought I was being really rude as Anne Hathaway not giving her a picture as Anne Hathaway but I was really only saying that I promised I wasn't Anne Hathaway - which I am not.”
Okay, we hear you. Just please don't say "Anne Hathaway" any more times.
And although this is the first time someone’s confused her for AH, she says she also gets "a lot” of Rachel Weisz and Natalie Portman. Careful with your phrasing there, Kiera.
Still, now she’s just been nominated for her first SAG Award in honour of The Imitation Game for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role, there should be no excuse for forgetting her face.
But thinking about it, if by "one of those faces” Kiera means "the radiant visage of a Hollywood goddess, which most of the population would give their right arm to have”, we really don’t think she should be getting so het up about it.
