Kieron Richardson marries Carl Hyland at star-studded wedding – YAY!

Isn’t it lovely when celebrities are all happy and in love? Well, Hollyoaks star Kieron Richardson appeared to be just that this weekend when he married boyfriend Carl Hyland.

The actor said “I do” at a star-studded ceremony in the Peak District on Saturday and the couple were joined by... a load of girls dressed as brides.

Kieron and Carl were seen outside the Buxton Dome surrounded by their stunning bridesmaids who included the star’s fellow castmates Jorgie Porter, Jennifer Metcalfe, Gemma Merna, Bronagh Waugh, Jazmine Franks and Stephanie Davis.

The pair chose the band The Drifters to perform at the reception and they had a special catwalk show for guests to watch.

Kieron recently told the Daily Star Sunday: “We want to do what everyone has been doing all these years – because finally we’re allowed to say those vows.

“But that really is the only traditional thing we are doing. I’ve had this image in my head of how I want it to be.”

And it seems the guests enjoyed the nuptials as much as the newlyweds, with Jorgie Porter tweeting: “WEDDING DAY !!!! @MrkieronR and @carl_hyland oh I’m so in love with these men.”

Fellow Hollyoaks actress Jessica Ellis wrote: “Just so happy that I live in a place that lets two PEOPLE who love each other marry! Congratulations @MrkieronR and @carl_hyland.”

And Fabrizo Santino, who plays David ‘Ziggy’ Roscoe in the soap, posted: “On route to Buxton for the wedding of the year! Super excited to see @MrkieronR in wedding suit n rest of the @Hollyoaks gang X.”
