Kim Kardashian admits selfie obsession is “ridiculous” after taking first self portrait in 1984

A world without cameras would be a strange place - especially for Kim Kardashian, who always has one lingering around in front of her face.

And she can’t even complain about being hounded by lens-wielding strangers because she’s the one shoving the cameras in her own face.

But the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has finally reached a level where she realises her obsession with selfies is “ridiculous”.

The reality star squeezed her GIGANTIC butt into a tight, black latex outfit to chat to Adweek about her life and have her picture taken for the magazine's cover.

She talked about her upcoming book, Selfish, which features hundreds of pictures she took of herself.

Kim said: “[I took] my first selfie in 1984, and that opens up the book. For a decade, I’ve carried a big digital camera, and I think it’s just fascinating to see the process of what types of photos evolve.

“So many people think that taking selfies is just ridiculous.

“For me, what’s so funny is I love taking pictures and posting them on social media just for memories. I’m kind of letting them know, yes, it is ridiculous, but it’s all fun.”

Fun? It’s sounds like ridiculously hard work! You took your first selfie 31 years ago, Kim, and you say you’re saving memories? You pretty much documented your whole brain!
