A baby exited the body of Kim Kardashian today and the world went slightly mad – after the reality television legend popped out a sprog, speculation about what she and husband Kanye West called the little boy went into overdrive.
Fans mistakenly thought the couple had named their first son STORM DESMOND (it's actually the identity given to a whole load of bad weather in the north of the UK) as it was trending on Twitter.
One user of the site wrote: “Hahahaha I've seen the hashtag Storm Desmond and thought it was the name of Kim Kardashian’s new baby.”
Another posted: “Was I the only one who assumed Storm Desmond was the name of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s new baby?”
After discovering this probably wasn’t the new human’s moniker, some other fans tried to guess the name.
Someone wrote: “If Kim K doesn’t call her baby Wild she’s missing a great opportunity. #WildWest.”
Another tweeted: “Mom thought if Kim Kardashian had her baby on Christmas Day that she’d name it Jesus.” Wow.
Kim and Kanye are yet to announce the name of their second child but Kim has previously said she liked the name Easton, although her rapper beau wasn’t so keen.
However, they have decided they won’t follow a trend after naming their daughter North by choosing another compass point.
She said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show: “I don’t think we’ll go another direction.”
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star announced the happy news she’d given birth on her website and app today.
A short statement read: “Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West welcomed the arrival of their son this morning.
“Mother and son are doing well.”
The newborn is the couple’s second child as they are already parents to two-year-old daughter North.
