Kim Kardashian is reportedly giving her new baby son the middle name of ‘Robert’ to honour her late father Robert Kardashian.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and her rapper husband welcomed their second child into the world today.
And, while they have not yet announced the full name of newborn, they have already decided on a middle name as a tribute to her dad, according to Hollywood Life.
Robert - who was father to Kim, her sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, and their brother Rob Kardashian with their mother Kris Jenner - died after battling cancer in 2003.
Users of the site thought they’d decided on STORM DESMOND for their second child – which is actually the name of a weather system over the north of the UK – as it was trending on the social network.
One person tweeted: “Hahahaha I’ve seen the hashtag Storm Desmond and thought it was the name of Kim Kardashian’s new baby.”
Another wrote: “Was I the only one who assumed Storm Desmond was the name of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s new baby?”
Kim announced the birth of her first son on her website and app after giving birth today.
A short statement read: “Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West welcomed the arrival of their son this morning.
“Mother and son are doing well.”
Kim and Kanye are already parents to two-year-old daughter North.
