This is an unusual birthday present if we’ve ever heard one.
It was Kanye West’s 38th birthday on 8 June and Kim Kardashian BUILT HIM A BASKETBALL COURT (no, not with her bare hands. She got some builders to do it).
TMZ reports that Kim had the court secretly built at their California mansion.

The website reports: “While Kanye was shooting around with his celebrity friends, Kim had construction crews break ground on the new home court going up at their home.”
Kanye must be deaf, blind and generally dozy to have missed all the drilling and hammering, but OK.
Apparently the basketball court isn’t actually finished yet – presumably because Kanye keeps walking in on it being built.
Imagine unveiling a half-built basketball court to your other half for their birthday.
We imagine the blank, disappointed look on their face, as you say, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY, here’s your pile of dust, and that rubble over there? That’s part of your pressie too!”
Never mind Kim, we’re sure Kanye’s an “it’s the thought that counts” kind of guy. OK, we’re lying, and he totally isn’t, but hey.
