Oh, Kimmy. We're waiting desperately to see a picture of your new little Saint, but you stick this up on your app - and it’s just not the chubby-cheeked little beauty that we expected.

Kim Kardashian posted this to her app yesterday, and we just can’t help but feel like she’s teasing us with all of this social activity but STILL no snap of Kimye’s newest addition, who was born earlier this month.

But we have to admit, this is pretty cool. Kim has had her own PLACENTA from her recent pregnancy created into capsules to take daily. The nutrients in the placenta apparently help milk production and reduce the risk of postnatal depression – and Kim swore by the great results she got from pills after the birth of her first daughter, North.

Kim wrote in her blog post yesterday; “I’m really not this holistic person or someone who would have ever considered eating my placenta – and when I say “eat my placenta”, I mean that I’m having it freeze-dried and made into a pill form – not actually fry it like a steak and eat it. I thought, why not try it? What do I have to lose?”.

She also added “I really didn’t want the baby blues and thought I can’t go wrong with taking a pill of my own hormones – made by me, for me. I started researching and read about so many moms who felt this same way and said the overall healing process was so much easier. I had great results (last time) and felt so energized and didn’t have any signs of depression! Every time I take a pill, I feel a surge of energy and feel really healthy and good. I totally recommend it for anyone considering it!”.

Kim’s older sister Kourtney Kardashian also transformed her placenta into pills after her pregnancy with son Reign – she posted a photo to Instagram of her placenta pills and captioned it “Yummy… PLACENTA pills! No joke…I will be said when my placenta pills run out. They are life changing!”.

We sense a pattern here… Maybe it’ll become standard practice and we’ll all be knocking our own placenta back with a cuppa soon? Who knows.

For now, let’s just appreciate the legendary personalised jar that Kim’s wonder placenta pills are kept in - marked "Kim - your amazing placenta". Megalolz.
