Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcome baby boy to the world!

Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West have welcomed a baby boy to the world – YAAAAAYYYYYY!

The couple announced their happy news on Kim’s website and app today in a short statement.

It read: “Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West welcomed the arrival of their son this morning.

“Mother and son are doing well.”

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and her rapper hubby, who are already parents to daughter North, two, are yet to reveal the name of their second child.

Kim previously revealed she was a fan of the name Easton but Kanye wasn’t so keen.

However, she has insisted she won’t be using another compass point for her new baby’s moniker.

She said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show: “I don’t think we’ll go another direction.”

While they aren’t ready to reveal the newborn’s name just yet, Kimye have been preparing North for the arrival of a new member of the family.

On her website in October, Kim wrote: “We read books with her about getting a baby brother and a new sibling all the time! We always say goodnight to baby brother.”

However, Kim’s pregnancy hasn’t been straight forward – the star was open about her struggle to fall pregnant after giving birth to North.

A source previously told People: “Kim also had three surgeries to repair her uterus. The inner lining had been so damaged that she was told conceiving on her own wasn’t possible.”

Despite her troubles, after falling pregnant, Kim took the opportunity to embrace her changing body and showed off her new shape in tight clothes.

She wrote on her website in September: “This time around, I know what I like – plus I am confident and not trying to hide my bump. I actually want to accentuate it.”

The television star even went as far as to strip for a nude shoot which she shared online in August but received some criticism, with some people even claiming her bump wasn’t real.

She hit back: “I think you all know me well enough to know I would document the process if I got a surrogate.

“Everyone’s body is different, every pregnancy is very different! I’ve learned to love my body at every stage! I’m going to get even bigger and that’s beautiful too!”

Kim celebrated the impending birth of her first son with a Troop Beverley Hills-themed baby shower with her famous family and friends in October.

Patiently waiting for the baby to arrive yesterday, she tweeted: “Ready whenever you are.”
