News broke back in July that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were hiring a surrogate to carry their third child together, and yesterday it was confirmed the pair were expecting a new baby.
Now TMZ have reported that Kimya will welcome another girl into the family.
According to the entertainment site, sources have revealed 'the couple's surrogate is carrying a female bundle of joy.'
The new addition to the Kardashian-West brood is said to be due some time in January.
However, unlike with her previous two pregancies - Kim and Kanye are already parents to North, four, and Saint, one - Kim has opted to use a surragate to carry baby number three.
According to TMZ, they turned to surrogacy this time because of the medical issues Kim experienced during her previous pregnancies.
Kim was advised by a doctor about the risks of carrying another child herself because of her struggles with a medical condition called placenta accreta, which became very serious during her second pregnancy.
In an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which aired last year, Kim was warned she could “bleed to death” if she fell pregnant for a third time.
A source told People: “The entire family is over the moon. Kim had been looking for a surrogate for months until recently when she found the perfect candidate.”
"They want everything to be perfect and for the baby to be extremely healthy. They don’t want any complications and Kim is providing an ideal eating regimen and diet so everyone knows what the baby is consuming before it's born."
