Kim Kardashian has been slammed on social media for her personal tribute to the victims of the Manchester terror attack at an Ariana Grande concert that left 22 dead and 59 injured.

Kim joined other many celebrities in taking to Twitter and Instagram to pay her respects, but hers has been met with criticism on social media.

Alongside of a picture of her, her sister Kendall Jenner, and Ariana Grande in a crowd, she wrote: ""Concerts are supposed to be a place where u can let loose & have fun. So scary to not feel safe in this world. @arianagrande I love you."

Many have questioned why she’d choose that particular picture for the tribute. In it, wshe seems to be the centre of attention, as well as literally being central in the frame.

One person wrote: “"We're never going to forget when you posted an inappropriate pic and made the Manchester boming all about you. (Screenshots are forever).”

Another added: "Wow! That's a new low.”

These came after two other tweets Kim wrote in tribute to the victims, one saying: “I can't imagine the fear and agony these parents must be going through searching for their kids”, and another: “I'm praying for everyone in Manchester. This is truly so senseless & heart breaking.”

Our thoughts are with all those affected by Monday's attacks.
