Kim Kardashian may be living a life of wedded bliss with Kanye West now but remember that blip in her love life that was her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries?
Well, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star claims she told her whole family to start saving their HUGE buckets of cash because she thought their careers were over when she and Kris split.
The model and businesswoman was criticised at the time when people thought her short-lived romance with basketball player Kris was a publicity stunt, but she was more concerned with the split causing her family's reputation damage.
She told The Drum: “At the time when I was going through the divorce, I did say to everyone, ‘You guys, I think our careers are over. I hope you’ve saved your money.’
“I totally thought it was over.”
She added: “I was being very paranoid. I just took some time off and the time was really good for me.
“I cancelled everything. I had everything that you could possible imagine and I just cancelled it all and I took time for me.”
Kim and Kris said “I do” in August 2011 but separated just months later in October, before finalising the divorce in April 2013.
And it seems all that cancelling and time out did Kim - who is pregnant with her second child, a son - good as she married rapper Kanye last year after giving birth to their daughter North in June 2013.
