Kim Kardashian opens up about getting pregnant: ‘I had so many complications’

Kim Kardashian made no secret of how desperate she was to have a second child with Kanye West. During a scene in Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim even revealed she was getting down to it with Kanye “500 times” a day.

Now she’s expecting her second child, the couple couldn’t be happier, but it wasn’t an easy process.

In an interview with C Magazine, cover star Kim said it was a year-long struggle to get pregnant.

“Yes, it takes the fun out of it,” she said. “I’m like, 'I’m ovulating, get home now!' He’d be like, 'Wait, I’m in the studio.'”

But joking aside – during the chat Kim went on to reveal the complications she suffered.

“I had so many complications,” Kim explained. “I had this condition called placenta accreta. There were a couple of little operations to fix all that, so that created a little hole in my uterus, which I think made it really tough to get pregnant again.”

This complication could mean that Kim’s second child could be the last baby she would be able to carry herself.

She added: “They think I’ll have placenta accreta again, so if the placenta grows a little bit deeper than it did last time, then they are prepared to have my uterus removed, which is a little scary for me.

“I think we’re just [going to] go day by day, see how overwhelming it is, and see how the delivery goes.”
