In April, Kendall Jenner appeared in a Pepsi ad that caused quite the controversy due to its sensitive nature. Kendall, as well as the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan have remained quiet on the topic.
However, when asked by *Watch What Happens Live *host Andy Cohen, Kim Kardashian was quick to defend her model sister. "She totally understood at the end of the day, she just felt really awful for it, and she just wants to move on from it."
The Kardashian-Jenner clan are always there to support one another, so it doesn't come as a surprise that Kimmy K was ready to support her younger sister.
She went on to say "You know I think that anytime somebody does something, they don't have bad intentions of doing it a certain way, especially Kendall's so sensitive, she would never mean for anyone to perceive anything in a negative way."
The advert was widely criticised for attempting to bridge the peace between the police and the public at a protest, purely through a police officer being given a Pepsi can to drink by Kendall.
Pepsi pulled the ad a day after its release and issued a statement saying "Pepsi was trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding. Clearly, we missed the mark and we apologise. We did not intend to make light of any serious issue." They also went on to issue an apology to Kendall for putting her in that position.
Kim herself is no stranger to controversy, including her infamous sex tape with Ray J that launched her and the rest of the Kardashians into the public eye.
However, the reality TV star recently took a step out of the spotlight following her horrifying experience in Paris in October last year (Kim was robbed and held at gunpoint during Paris Fashion Week.)
When asked by Andy Cohen if she is on social media less, Kim replied "I think it's so important for me to be present and so when I'm in my house, I'm hardly on my phone."
