The man behind Kim Kardashian's robbery at Paris Fashion Week last October has issued an apology to the star, claiming he's sorry for the 'psychological damage' he's caused her.

60-year-old Aomar Ait Khedache admitted to holding the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star hostage and robbing $10m worth of jewellery back in January; and now he's hand-written an apology Kim's reportedly dismissed as 'hollow.'

In the note, written in French, Khedache says: "I want to come to you as a human being to tell you how much I regret my gesture, how much I have been moved and touched to see you in tears.

"Know that I fully sympathize with the pain you are enduring, your children, your husband, and your close ones.

"I hope that this letter will allow you to forget little by little the trauma that you suffered by my fault."

TMZ reports that Kim thinks the gesture's 'hollow.' In her statement following the traumatic heist, Kim explained: "I was in a bathrobe, naked underneath. We went back to the bedroom and they pushed me onto the bed," before revealing on the reality show: "Just by their height and weight, I could tell who from this lineup was in the room with me."

Sorry's just not good enough for Kim, hun.
