Kim Kardashian does not know if Lamar Odom will “ever be the same again” after he was found unconscious at a legal Nevada brothel following an alleged drink and drugs overdose.
The sportsman was put into a medical coma as doctors tried to save his life last month and, while he has recovered somewhat, he still has a long way to go.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star told On Air With Ryan Seacrest: “He’s here and he’s alive, but to say it’s not a long road and to say he’s fully better is not the truth either.
“He has a lot of work to do and a lot of communication therapy and having to learn to walk again and to talk again. You never know if he’ll ever be the same again.”
However, despite Kim’s sister Khloe Kardashian previously filing for divorce from former basketball player Lamar, which she has now called off, she insists their family will always love him.
She said: “Lamar is family and he’ll always be family, we’ll always do what we can to help take care of him, and protect him, and be there for him.
“It’s a really unfortunate, sad situation all the way around the board, and I just encourage people to keep on praying because the road is nowhere near over.”
