Remember being 13 and looking in the mirror and sobbing because

a) you had a huge nose

b) said huge nose had a huge spot which Rimmel concealer was only sort of… skimming over, while the spot wept, and created a kind of nose-volcano

c) straighteners weren’t yet a “thing”?

Yes, many of us blubbed over these horrors, but KIM KARDASHIAN SURE DIDN’T. That’s because Kimmy was, allegedly, bemoaning her now-famous, famous boobs.

She told Elle magazine: “When I was 13 my father [Robert Kardashian] wrote me a letter. I was unhappy with my body - I developed really early.

“Every night I would sit in the bath and cry. I prayed my boobs would stop growing.

“He told me I had a body not many girls have, that later it would lead to attention from men, but that the most important thing was that I was a wonderful girl and I had to understand my self worth.”

While that’s a lovely sentiment from Kim’s dad, we can’t help but roll our eyes and do a little tut. She is the lady who covered her whole, glorious body in oil for Paper magazine last month, after all.

We’re not convinced that a young Kim sat and cried in the bath over her blossoming boobs every single night (we imagine she was hanging with Paris Hilton at the mall most evenings to be quite honest) but, hey, Kim’s insisting it’s true.

“I’m an Armenian girl, I have shape, and it turned out people liked that. That makes me feel good about myself and about other women for being so supportive,” Kim explains.

“I am a confident woman, but I didn’t just arrive confident – it has built over the years and that is a big part of who I am now.”

Whatever you say, Kim.
