Kim Kardashian has been very vocal about her unhappiness with her post-baby body, tweeting earlier this week that she was finding it difficult to appreciate her figure. But is she taking her quest for perfection too far?

According to new reports, Kim is now regularly doing workouts that promise to burn up to 1,000 calories an hour – that's over half of an average daily consumption for a woman.

Joey Gonzalez, a celebrity personal trainer who works at Barry's Bootcamp in Sherman Oaks, told *RadarOnline *about Kim's exercise routine, explaining that they've been seeing a lot more of her recently.

"We focus on different areas of the body each day and Kim has been frequenting every class to make sure that she gets a full-body workout," he said.

"You can burn up to 1,000 calories per workout [at Barry's], and Kim's great attitude and positive demeanour help her burn through the toughest portions of a session and get the maximum burn for her buck."

It comes after Kim's worrying string of tweets posted on Monday, in which she told her followers that she was still trying to lose 20 lbs of baby weight.

"Off to an intense workout. No more excuses. My baby is 1 years old! UGH," she wrote. "I'm not gonna call it baby weight bc thats an excuse. i just gained weight & that's it. why is it so much harder to lose after baby though!!"

Kim's also been posting a number of #tbt pictures on Instagram of late, tagging them 'skinny' and talking about how her body used to look.
