Kanye West unveiled his brand new video Famous with a massive premiere in LA last night and, no surprise to anyone, it’s proving very controversial with the rapper’s fans - and peers.
The rapper hosted a viewing event to premiere the visuals for the track from his The Life of Pablo album before the video was released exclusively on Tidal. The Kardashian klan were out in force to show their support and Kylie Jenner’s ex Tyga was also spotted watching - further fuelling rumours the pair are back together.
The NSFW Famous clip features Kanye and Kim lying in naked in bed - alongside familiar faces such as Caitlyn Jenner, Amber Rose, Ray J, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Donald Trump, Anna Wintour, George Bush, Bill Cosby and of course Taylor Swift. Some sleepover, right?
Inspired by American painter Vincent Desiderio, Kanye revealed to Vanity Fair: “It’s not in support or anti any of [the people in the video].
“It’s a comment on fame.
"We were very careful with shots that had [something] sexual to take them out."
While it’s unclear how many nude bodies are real and how many are waxwork, according to TMZ Kanye has claimed most of the celebs are the real deal.
We can only imagine what Taylor Swift is thinking this morning - she and Kanye (and Kim) have already had an almighty bust up over the lyrics in the song, specifically when Kanye claims “I made that b***h famous” about her.
At least she’s got Tom Hiddleston’s shoulder to cry on, eh?
