Kimberley Walsh opens up about relationship with Nadine Coyle: ‘She’s like family’

Former Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh continues to deny she's 'plotting' against I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! star Nadine Coyle in a secret WhatsApp group with Cheryl and Nicola Roberts; insisting the group have a bond 'like family.'

Kimberley, Cheryl and Nicola were forced to release a joint statement last weekend claiming reports they're voting for Nadine to partake in gruesome trials on the show are untrue; with Kimberley now telling heatworld she has 'a lot of love and compassion' for her bandmate.

Chatting exclusively to heatworld about her relationship with Nadine, Kimberley explained: "It’s like family. You’ve been living in each other’s pockets for thirteen years. You don’t necessarily choose your family, but you still love them.

"You still have a lot of love and compassion for them deep down.

"You really do only ever want them to do well; you always want to stick up for them and look out for them but you might not want to spend every day with them."

Kimberley also addressed those 'plot' reports, telling us they're 'completely untrue.'

She said: "Do you know what? I don’t usually bother to put statements out about things like that; but it was so completely untrue and it’s not where any of us are at in our heads. I didn’t like that negativity being out there and it’s not true.

"I actually watch it and I feel a lot of love for her, you know? You spend all those years with somebody and it’s hard to watch them do things that are upsetting.

"I cried watching her jump out of the plane; I knew how hard that would be for her. So, no; I don’t get any joy out of seeing her suffering. I just feel proud that she’s doing so well in there because it’s a big challenge for her."

In further news, Kimberley reckons Caitlyn Jenner could join Girls Aloud on a reunion tour as an honourary sixth member and we are LIVING.

Asked if she caught Nadine teaching Caitlyn the iconic The Promise choreography in the jungle, Kimberley said: "It was a genius moment. I did enjoy it very much. She had no clue who we were, but still; she still did it."

That totally means she could be on board for a reunion tour, then?

"I mean, why not?" said Kimberley. "She did do a great job."
