In the wake of Cheryl Tweedy's split from Liam Payne after two-and-a-half years together, it seems that Cheryl has done what any normal girl would do - got her mates around. Nicola Roberts has already opened up about how Cheryl is doing following her split in an appearance on Loose Women.
She told the panel, "She’s good, I actually think what’s been interesting this week is how the misogyny through the media has been played out. 'Oh why can’t she hold a man down' and stuff like that, but why can’t a man hold her down? But she's good."
Now, Cheryl and Nicola's other Girls Aloud BFF Kimberley Walsh has spoken out about the split, also revealing that Cheryl was "doing great" in an interview with OK! magazine before revealing that "life changes" could have been the root cause of their relationship break down.
She said, "I guess it's just hard isn't it? When you have a baby your whole being and whole life changes."

Cheryl and Liam take to Twitter to confirm their split. They say: "We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It's been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together."
She added of her friend, "For her, obviously having a relationship in the public eye just makes it even harder," before hinting that Liam's music could have come between the two of them, saying, "His career obviously takes him out of the country for long periods so it's hard."
Liam and Cheryl, who share one-year-old baby Bear together, both took to Twitter to announce their separation in a joint statement which read, 'We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It's been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.'
Liam and Cheryl got together in 2016 after meeting backstage at The X Factor. She gave birth to their son Bear in March 2017, but they announced their separation in July 2018.
