We all know what yesterday will go down in history for. Not the day scientists finally landed a robot on a comet or as Ryan Gosling’s 34th birthday, but the momentous occasion when Kim Kardashian made the internet K-rumble with pictures of her bum.
So it’s no wonder that sister Kourtney’s baby shower sort of slid under the radar. We mean, no offence Kourtney, but who has time to look at pictures of flowers and orange juice when there’s a HUGE NAKED BACKSIDE glowing on every screen in our sightline?
Still, the shower did happen, and possibly in an attempt to neutralise the slew of unsuitable material that’s spurted out of the Kardashian crowd over the past 48 hours (Kim’s butt; Khloe’s Ku Klux Klan meme) it was a tasteful Breakfast at Tiffany’s-themed brunch affair.
Taking place in the Conservatory at the Montage in Beverly Hills, Kourtney celebrated with sisters Khloé, Kylie and of course Kim, who had thankfully by then decided to put her clothes back on.
However, Khloé gave a shout out to absent sister Kendall Jenner, with a sentimental Instagram snap of a croissant.
Kourtney, 35, is expecting her third child with partner Scott Disick, 31. The couple already have two children – Mason, five months, and Penelope, aged two.
Let’s just hope Kim doesn’t opt to do another naked photo shoot on the due-date.
