Following the sentiments of her daughter’s, Kris Jenner has broken her silence over Caitlyn Jenner’s new life.
Since Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair cover made headlines all over the world, Kris has stayed tight lipped about her thoughts. She has previously supported Caitlyn online, tweeting to her followers after Cait’s tell all interview with Diane Sawyer: “Not only was I able to call him my husband for 25 years and father of my children, I am now able to call him my hero.”
Now, Kris, 59, has opened up about the “beautiful” photographs of Caitlyn which were published in June. When asked about Caitlyn’s transformation, Kris told the Mail: “I think it's amazing,” before adding:
“I think that someone following their dream is truly inspirational to a lot of people. You have to do what makes you happy.”
Kris played a part in the Vanity Fair interview and spoke frankly about the breakdown of their marriage.
“He was married to me and he wasn’t who he wanted to be so he was miserable,” she explained. “All I was doing was working very hard for my family so that we could all have a wonderful future, and he was p**sed off.
“At the end of my relationship with Bruce he definitely had a lot of social anxiety. That was one of the reasons we were in a struggle at the end.”
Although Caitlyn did strike out at Kris in the interview, saying “a lot of times she wasn't very nice,” she recently praised Kris’ support telling her Twitter followers:
“Reading the VF article reminded me of the love & good times Kris & I shared for so many years. Wouldn’t trade that time for anything!”
