Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom called off their divorce this week after the basketball player was found unconscious in a legal Nevada brothel earlier this month.
But Khloe’s mother Kris Jenner is reportedly furious the pair has decided to get back together, despite publicly stating she is pleased for the couple.
Lamar allegedly overdosed on drugs, alcohol and sexual stimulants at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch South and was put into a medical coma by hospital doctors after reportedly suffering multiple strokes, a heart attack and organ failure.
The former LA Lakers sportsman has been moved from a Las Vegas hospital to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Khloe has remained by her husband’s side and has even decided to call of their divorce.
And while Kris said she supported daughter Khloe’s decision, saying she had “nothing but love” for the couple, the momager is apparently telling people she’s actually fuming at the decision.
An insider told Radar Online: “Kris was only informed by Khloe the night before that her lawyer, Laura Wasser, would be going into court to ask for the divorce petition to be dropped. Kris was absolutely totally stunned and is very disappointed Khloe made the decision.
“She completely supported Khloe being at Lamar’s bedside, but to just drop the divorce? It’s shocking!
“Nothing has changed with Lamar. Khloe’s trust issues just won’t disappear because of the overdose.”
The insider claimed Kris thinks that “as long as Khloe and Lamar are together, the brothel overdose is an embarrassment to the family”.
Khloe originally asked the court for a divorce for Lamar back in December 2013 and spent the following 18 months trying to reconcile things with the athlete.
The pair finally signed off their divorce paper in July this year but paperwork had not been finalised by the court at the time of Lamar’s overdose earlier this month.
Khloe has remained by Lamar’s side in hospital and, while he appeared to be improving, he has since developed pneumonia.
A source previously told Radar: “He has gotten weaker since arriving at Cedars-Sinai in LA.”
