What’s this now? Kendall Jenner and Lewis Hamilton spending a relaxing day on a 236ft mega-yacht moored off the coast of Monaco?
Our exclusive pictures in this week’s heat magazine show Kendall – wearing a tiny leopard-print bikini as she hung out with the F1 driver – sunbathing, taking pictures of him in a very unsexy wetsuit, laughing while they jet-skiied together and, at one point, listening as Lewis whispered intimately in her ear.
The date came just one day after Kendall was strutting around the Monaco Grand Prix wearing an expensive gold chain. At first glance, it seemed she was just rocking a super-glam (and expensive) look, but when she Instagrammed a photo (with the caption “a lot going on”), we realised Lewis had been spotted wearing the same bling earlier that day.
While Kendall seems rather taken with nice-but-kinda-dull Lewis, we can reveal that, a bit embarrassingly, they were set up by Kris Jenner. Yep, you might be a 19-year-old supermodel living the dream, but your mum still finds your boyfriends. Not so cool.
Despite only going public last week, heat can also reveal that Lewis, 30, has been after Kendall since March. “They first met at the Balmain party at Paris Fashion Week,” says our fashion insider. “Lewis had just split up from Nicole [Scherzinger] and clearly fancied Kendall, but she seemed more interested in hanging out with her mates. But Kris was also at the party and was all over Lewis. She practically pushed Kendall into his arms. She gave Lewis Kendall’s number and told him to call her and ask her on a date. Kendall was mortified. Everyone saw her mouthing, ‘Mom, stop,’ at Kris. But it didn’t put Lewis off – he was in contact with Kendall all the time after that.”
Our insider adds that Kendall finally gave in and went to his LA home for dinner in March (we’re told she thought Lewis was “sweet” and liked his British accent), but things cooled off for a month or two. And that’s when things got really interesting, because rather than forlornly driving around blasting Coldplay, Lewis tried it on with Kendall’s BFF, fellow model Gigi Hadid. Our insider reveals, “Lewis invited Gigi to the AmFar Gala in Cannes on 21 May. I think they may have hooked up, but I don’t think Gigi wanted anything serious – so Lewis switched his attention back to Kendall when they met up in Monaco.”
