Reaching over to kiss her new wife in front of family and friends during a wholesome and intimate wedding ceremony in LA last week, Kristen Stewart, while opting for a befitting quirky look in a grey co-ord, looked every part the blushing bride.
However, her new wholesome image alongside long-term partner Dylan Meyer is a world apart from just a short while ago, when the newlywed shocked us with her vulgar sex confessions, including mentions of a ‘wide open c**t, about as wide as a mouth saying mother****r’ and revelations that she gets turned on whilst on set.
Kristen, 35, admitted to US host Howard Stern back in 2019 that when she met Film Director Dylan, 37, ‘It was literally like…all bets were off.’
But while she appears more settled than ever, that has never stopped the Twilight star from opening up about her raunchy past and sexual fantasies.
In her most frank interview about sex to date, Kristen admitted that she was no longer willing to shy away from ‘vulgar’ sex talk.
Discussing a film she was writing in 2018, Kristen said, ‘My favourite line in this movie I’m currently writing is, ‘I thought about Sienna Torres and her shoving her hand into my wide-open c**t, about as wide as a mouth saying mother****r.’
She continued, ‘That’s not something people would be comfortable hearing, up until right now, but I think it’s the perfect time.
‘There’s nothing dirty about it, but I’m definitely going to be vulgar, and I’m definitely going to be completely unabashedly open about the fact that we’re entirely sexual beings.’
Kristen has also refused to back down, criticising Hollywood for staying away from ‘female pleasure’ and accusing movies of being ‘scared’ to use certain words.
And last year she channelled her frustrations into the crime thriller, Love Lies Bleeding. And if you thought Twilight was sexy, this film shows Kristen’s sexual evolvement in all its glory.
Reclusive gym manager ‘Lou’, played by Kristen, meets body builder ‘Jackie’ and, amidst scenes of violence and killing, there are some very explicit scenes.
Admitting that she was ‘turned on’ when filming, Kristen revealed, ‘They don't take their clothes off, but this is going to shock people. All you ever see is a dress coming up and a head going down under.’
Her latest movie is a far cry from the actress who first rose to fame as the innocent Bella Swan, a teen who fell for super-hot (but actually very cold-blooded) Edward Cullen in the epic vampire saga, Twilight, back in 2008 – a time when fans everywhere watched on as Kristen fell in love with Robert Pattinson, both on and off-screen.
But it was clear that by the time The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn I and II were released in 2011 and 2012, that their once wholesome romance had got a whole lot sexier, with Edward and Bella’s marriage consummation seeing Edward smash up the bedroom, transforming their bed linen into what one fan described as looking like 'a bunch of dead chickens', followed by their love-making marathon during the second instalment.
Off screen, too, Kristen appeared to be evolving.
Once the sweet and shy actress, she ditched her demure gowns for nude lace, plunging necklines and stilettos, with the New York Times declaring her new risqué fashion ‘the Look of the Year’ in 2012.
That same year, she graced the cover of Vogue and fully ditched her ‘good girl’ persona for good when she revealed that she and Robert – her then-boyfriend of three years – had a very, some may say odorous, kink of licking each other’s armpits.
Giving a surprisingly sweet reason at the time, Kristen shared, ‘I love the way he smells. And him me. Like, he loves to lick under my armpits. I don't get this obsession with washing the smell off. That smell of someone you love. Don't you think that's the whole point?’
The couple, however, broke up a year later after Kristen, then just 22, had an affair with married director Rupert Sanders, who was 41 at the time, whilst starring in Snow White and the Huntsman.
‘This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry,’ she said in a statement at the time.
Kristen later admitted, ‘I wouldn't say I fell in love with the director, it was kind of a weird thing ...’ but clarified that the pair had just ‘made out’ and hadn’t slept together.
Following the public scandal, Kristen openly came out as gay on Saturday Night Live in 2017.
Responding to Donald Trump’s bizarre tweets, in which the President accused Kristen of cheating on Robert ‘like a dog’ and urged him not to take her back, Kristen hit back, ‘If you didn't like me then, you're really probably not going to like me now... because I'm like, so gay, dude.’
Later opening up about her sexuality, she again referred to the sexual attraction she previously shared with Rob, saying last year, ‘The idea of people going, ‘I knew that you were a little queer kid forever.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, yeah? Well, you should honestly have seen me f**k my first boyfriend.’’
After splitting with Rob, she had been dating Producer Alicia Cargile for two years before their split in 2016, although their relationship was kept mostly under wraps.
The actress then went on to date singer St Vincent and French singer and actress Soko before moving on with Cara Delevingne’s ex fiancé, Stella Maxwell, in 2018, before splitting for good a year later.
But it was only upon meeting Dylan that Kristen appeared to land her real-life Hollywood fairytale.
The couple wed at a Mexican restaurant close to their home with their friends and families – a huge 170 guests in total – attending the laid back nuptials.
Wearing co—ordinating light colours, the couple then partied to two DJs and guests were treated to two sushi bars.
Previously talking about finding her happy ending, Kristen shared, ‘I want to make movies and kids with this girl. I can’t believe I’m so lucky. I literally drew her in a dream, and now she exists.’
