The Hills star Kristin Cavallari has paid tribute to her brother Michael Cavallari, who was found dead yesterday three days after going missing.
Posting a picture of the two of them as children, Kristen wrote on Instagram: “My heart is in a million pieces. Mikey, I could always count on you to make me laugh.
“You had such a good heart and will be forever missed. I'm at a loss for words but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace. I love u so much RIP.”
Michael’s body was found on Thursday morning in Utah. His car was found abandoned near a petrol station just off a motorway on 27 November, and he’d been officially reported as a missing person on Monday this week.
In a statement released to E! News, Kristin said: “We want to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers during this very difficult time. We have just been informed by the authorities my brother's body has been found. This is a very painful time and we are still processing it all.
“We kindly ask everyone please respect our privacy during our time of grieving,” she added.
It comes at a particularly emotional time for the former reality star, as she gave birth to her third child, daughter Saylor James Cutler, just two weeks ago.
Our thoughts are with the Cavallari family.
