Kylie Jenner has had to step in to defend her brother-in-law Kanye West's latest fashion show after a whole bunch of things went wrong – including one model fainting ahead of her runway walk.
Yesterday Kanye unveiled his latest collection for Adidas, but a string of disasters apparently turned the whole event into a bit of a nightmare.
Kylie hit back at one tweeter who sent her a video of a model stumbling down the catwalk in what looked like very high stiletto heels, snapping back "nothing [is wrong] – I'm so proud of her. She didn't want to disappoint and she f*ckin pulled through and tried her best. She's awesome".
Kanye's fourth Yeezy collection, which kicked off the Spring/Summer 2017 New York Fashion Week, was also criticised by the fashion editors and bloggers he'd invited to his show, with one saying she saw lots of people leaving in disgust at watching the models work in blazing heat.
Audience members also complained about the lack of water and snacks as they were bussed to Roosevelt Island in 30C-degree heat.
To make things worse, the show was then delayed for an hour and a half, leaving the models standing in the middle of the outdoor park without shade.
But Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian seemed oblivious to the multiple mess-ups, documenting the show on Snapchat and making sure Kanye saw her in the front row when he made his walk at the end of the fashion parade.
Hilariously, ahead of the show Kanye said he no longer wants people to think of his creations as 'fashion'. Dunno if they ever were, mate.
"Let's say 'apparel', especially for the style of clothes I make," he told Vogue earlier this week.
"I'm not saying that this is a fashion proposition, I'm saying that this is a human proposition."
Right-o. We'll bear that in mind next time you want to charge $$$ for some beige rags, Ye.
