Cast your minds back to January 2015. A time before Brexit, the US presidential election and a time when we were blissfully unaware of the demise of The Great British Bake Off (RIP Bake Off, forever in our hearts).
A happier time.
The year kick-started with a deep, philosophical thought for the year ahead from none other than Kylie Jenner AKA the 21st Century Confucius.
She eloquently branded the year 2016 as "just the year of like, realising stuff."
And turns out the joke is actually on us - as people have been taking to Twitter to prove Kylie was kinda right about it.
Kylie has even made t-shirts with her famous slogan, so we can all be reminded of what a year of (terrible) realisation 2016 has been.
While we have defo realised stuff in 2016 and are desperate to get our hands on this tee, some Kylie fans are taking things a little further and calling for her to receive official recognition for her services to all of mankind.
President Obama recently finished handing out a series of awards given to individuals for "an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavours."
And some GENIUS has done a bit of photo shopping to create this sensation.
The picture depicts Kylie being awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
LOLOL.
While this is definitely not actually a thing - it would be kinda hilarious if it was true and Kylie had actually been bestowed an award for her "meritorious contribution" to social media banter.
And we think the person behind this should also be awarded some sort of prize for services to Internet LOLS.
Don't you think?
