If she’s not Snapchatting her fabulous life, or releasing another Lip-Kit colour, she’s uploading pictures on Instagram that makes us re-evaluate our life choices. But in the latest Kylie Jenner news she’s going head to head with Kylie Minogue.
The youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner bunch is trying to trademark the name ‘Kylie’. But Kylie Minogue is having none of it and has filed an opposition requesting that the trademark to be stopped.
Kylie Minogue, who already has several trademarks – ‘Kylie Minogue’, ‘Kylie Minogue Darling’ and ‘Lucky – The Kylie Minogue Musical’ - apparently does not want the trademark to go ahead because she does not want her brand to be diluted or her fans to be confused between the two Kylies.
The Australian pop queen tweeted on Sunday night, saying:
And KBD , the company who who are representing Kylie Minogue in the legal battle, have referred to Kylie Jenner as “a supporting character” in Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
We think shade has been thrown…
Kylie Jenner wants to trademark the name for “entertainment in the nature of providing information by means of a global computer network in the fields of entertainment, fashion and pop culture” apparently.
But as if Kylie Jenner even needs to trademark her name. She is the most watched person on Snapchat, and has over 52 million Instagram followers.
Mind you, Kylie Minogue has *I Should Be So Lucky *so we’d say that they’re pretty, pretty evenly matched.
Fight! Fight! Fight!
