She may have some of the poutiest lips in showbiz, but that doesn't mean Kylie Jenner condones the shocking social media trend that her look has inspired.
As we reported on Monday, teens have been using bottle tops to try and get pouty, swollen looking lips, sometimes with dangerous results, and posting the results on social media with the hashtag #KylieJennerChallenge. It goes without saying that it's a dumb idea.
But now the reality star has spoken out about the hashtag, telling her fans she wants nothing to do with it:
"I'm not here to try & encourage people/young girls to look like me or to think this is the way they should look" she tweeted.
"I want to encourage people/young girls like me to be YOURSELF & not be afraid to experiment w your look."
OK, so maybe she didn't tell people off for using bottle tops that could potentially cause brusing or scarring (see some of the grisly pics here), but at least she sort of warded her fans off from doing it. In other pouty news, TOWIE's Gemma Collins also showed off fuller lips this week - looks like this trend is NOT going away.
