Kylie Minogue appeared on the Magic Breakfast show with Ronan Keating and Harriet Scotton to speak about her ‘sexy’ band, how great she’s feeling at the minute and how she feels the industry is embracing her at 50.
After Ronan and Harriet complimented her appearance, she said: “I feel more myself than I have in ages. I said to a friend yesterday, there was a number of years when I just didn’t look like myself. I didn’t feel like myself.
"It was post-cancer treatment and during treatment and all that. You kind of get used to a new normal. But I feel like I’m really inhabiting myself, like myself again, which is just great.”
And speaking about how it feels to be called a 'legend', she said: “That’s very weird… It’s a good time in the business at the minute. I was thinking back to four years ago, promoting my last album, which was a different beast anyway.
"But I got asked so much about – how does it feel to be, what was I like 46 then? Talking to me as if, ‘what are you doing here’. Now I feel everyone’s kind of embracing it, so that’s good.”
