Lady Gaga has taken to Instagram to show off her brand new beauty line, Haus Laboratories, featuring plenty of colour and true Gaga sass. The singer even revealed that the line will be available for pre-order from the 15th July.
Sharing a glossy video to her Instagram yesterday, Gaga can be heard saying, "The last thing the world needs is another beauty brand. But that's too bad. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but at Haus Laboratories we say beauty is how you see yourself." The artsy video follows a glossy, metallic theme, showing off plenty of colour and design.
The new beauty line even has it's own Instagram page, hauslabs, which has already given us a good taster of what's to come. Sharing a stunning photo of Lady Gaga herself, the account captioned the image, "I’m so grateful that makeup inspired a bravery in me I didn’t know I had.” - @ladygaga Be brave. Be you.' [sic]

Sharing the same image to her own account, Gaga captioned the image with an emotional post discussing her love for makeup. The 33-year-old wrote, 'When I was young, I never felt beautiful. And as I struggled to find a sense of both inner and outer beauty, I discovered the power of makeup.' [sic]
She continued, 'I remember watching my mother put her makeup on every morning, basking in the glow of her power to put on her bravest face as the hard working woman she was. I then began to experiment with makeup as a way to make my dreams of being as strong as my mother become true. It was then that I invented Lady Gaga.' [sic].
According to BoF, the brand will sell kits combining lip gloss, lip liner and all-over colour from September onwards, following a 'two-month marketing blitz'.
