Lamar Odom: ‘Opens eyes and communicates’ says ‘Hi’ to Khloe Kardashian

Lamar Odom is said to have opened his eyes and communicated with those around him.

After being admitted to hospital, things were not looking good for Lamar with TMZ claiming doctors had only given him a 50/50 chance of survival.

Bu_t Entertainment Tonight_ report that Lamar has opened his eyes and, when asked if he wanted to see his children, he responded with a “yes”. According to reports the basketball star also communicated with ex-wife Khloe Kardashian, who has been by his bedside since Lamar was admitted. He is also reportedly off the ventilator that was helping hime breathe. A source close to the situation told CNN that Lamar has improved "a tiny bit".

Earlier today his children, Destiny, 17, and her 13-year-old brother Lamar Jr broke their silence for the first time since their dad was hospitalised on Tuesday and thanked their supporters for their positive vibes.

They said: “Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad.

“We are here with our family and friends. We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy at this time. We ask for your continued prayers.”
