Laura Whitmore has lashed out against producers of the Irish Late Late Show in a passionate Twitter post.
The Strictly star explained to her followers on the social media site how her segment on the show was cut last minute last year.
She revealed that she was due to appear on the show to discuss her child sponsorship with Plan Ireland.
However, the 31-yea- old was told by producers of the show that they didn’t want to feature a “charity piece”.
Laura wrote: “I was booked to go on the late Late Show a year ago to talk about my child sponsorship with Plan Ireland (I’ve sponsored a little girl for six years in the Philippines).
“I had made a trip a month before to raise awareness of the children, specifically females, taken out of school too young to support their families.
“It was cancelled last minute and I was informed the charity had been told by the procure they don’t like doing those ‘charity pieces’.
“It angers me that certain other people who don’t need such a platform are given it to spread negativity and let’s face it absolute nonsense.
"It leaves me with little faith in this world.”
Laura’s reveal comes after Katie Hopkins appeared on the show to discuss her very vocal support for the new US president Donald Trump.
Laura’s fans were quick to support the model on her rant, with one saying: “Well said and well done on raising this. Shocking!!!”
Another added: “Keep the faith, Laura. You’re a good person and while it might not always seem like it you’re not alone. Big hug.”
