The ex-TOWIE star's former boyfriend has been in prison for 9 years
Lauren Goodger has had a tough old time when it comes to love, but when it was reported that she had began a relationship with jailbird Joey Morrison last year, fans expressed their concerns.
And now, after 9 years in prison (reduced from 18) Joey has been released today.
Lauren also posted a snap on Instagram showing the back of a man covered by a sunshine emoji - sparking rumours that she may have reunited with him but is trying to hide it.
Lauren seems chirpy as she captioned the snap "What a beautiful day... sunshine", and recent reports revealed that Lauren is keen to make her relationship work with Joey after he is released fro prison.
Joey was jailed back in 2008 after he was convicted of a series of violent and drug-related crimes, such as kidnapping, blackmail and ABH.
New! magazine reported that Lauren had always regretted making her relationship with Joey public as she received so much backlash.
They said: "Lauren has always been waiting for Joey's release.
"When Lauren said they had broken up, it wasn’t because they had a huge row or had fallen out of love, it was because they were struggling to make it work while he was in prison."
"She was also getting a lot of stick from fans and the media over the relationship and it made her regret ever making it public.
"But with his release around the corner, Lauren is excited that they can finally be together as a couple, be free to do the things they have talked about, and not be judged by anyone."
