Just when you think we, as a collective nation, have hit peak Lauren Goodger, Lauren Goodger comes along and massively out-Goodgers herself.
Whether it's accidentally-on-purpose writing about her ex Mark Wright just after he married Michelle Keegan, or nicking a bum picture and pretending it's her own on Instagram, Lauren really is the gift that won't stop giving.
This time, it looked suspiciously like she'd managed to fall victim to the type of scam you only read about in your mum's gloomy emails. Yep, she handed over a load of money to someone claiming to be a TV licence inspector on her own doorstep.
Oh, the Goodge.
Taking to Twitter to express confusion at the events that had just transpired, Lauren revealed: "Man just knocked at my door for TV licence ? I paid there and then is this correct? But I do actually have one? Does this happen normally."
Her former TOWIE co-star Vas Morgan got straight in there to tell Lauren it, er, probably wasn't legit.
Others were quick to take the piss:
But some nice tweeter put Lauren in touch with the real TV licensing people, and they looked into it for her.
And guess what? It WAS a legit inspector!
So all's well that ends well. Right? Right?
