STOP EVERYTHING and SIT DOWN and SHUT UP because TOWIE tan magnate and legitimate Instagram addict Lauren Goodger has reportedly landed a six-figure deal to appear on this summer’s Celebrity Big Brother.
Lauren Goodger! Big Brother! Imagine how many hours she’ll spend getting ready each day! Imagine her clawing at the mirrored walls, delirious after six days of not taking a selfie! Imagine what will happen if they don’t let her tan.
But as The Sun reports, The Goodge has landed the megabucks gig on one key stipulation — that she goes into all the gory details about her relationship with former fiancée Mark Wright.
“Lauren gets that one of the most interesting things about her is her up and down relationship with Mark,” a* CBB* insider told the paper. Bit of a mug off, mate, but whatever.
“The producers stressed that they wanted some juicy details of their time together,” the source added. “They dated from 15 until their mid-twenties and Lauren has already spoken out about very personal things like the abortion she had when carrying Mark’s baby. They’re expecting bombshells.”
Which, timing-wise, is more than a little bit horrible for Mark’s ridiculously, absurdly good-looking new fiancé Michelle Keegan, who has just quit her role on Coronation Street to focus on other projects like her fashion range and deciding which vol-au-vents to serve at her wedding to Mark.
And the Swiss Family Mark Wright are none too happy about the decision either, with a close pal revealing: “Mark thinks Lauren is completely obsessed with him and isn’t prepared to move on. It’s desperation on her part.
“As far as he’s concerned that chapter is closed. He was with Lauren when he was young and reckless but his relationship with Michelle is the real deal.”
Lauren has taken to Twitter to deny that she’s entering the house, saying:
Other celebrities thought to be entering the house include Hollywood maniac Gary Busey (If he has an on-screen romance with Lauren their couple name would be ‘Boodger’, just FYI) and Made in Chelsea/The Hills’ Stephanie Pratt. Even if the line-up just ends up being those three, this year is going to be amazing.
