They’ve had more pit stops than the average relationship since getting together seven years ago, but could Formula 1 ace Lewis Hamilton be ready to propose to former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger?
“I’m certainly feeling pressure, heat from family members,” Lewis told E! News.
“But Nicole’s massively focused on her work the same as I am. We’re happy just way we are.”
It looks like Lewis, who won the BBC’s Sports Personality Of The Year award last night, isn’t ruling out proposing completely, saying marriage at “one point… will be for us”.
Until then, it seems careers are the main priority for these two. Nicole, who’s currently starring in Cats in London couldn’t make it to the SPOTY awards in Glasgow last night.
But that didn’t stop Lewis taking a date. Joining him on the red carpet was his adorable English Bulldog Roscoe.
Earlier today he took to Instagram to show off his award – and mega-cute pooch Roscoe, saying: “Roscoe says thank you as well!! #BESTdog #TeamLH #RoscoeHamilton.”
As well as thanking the 209,000 people who rang in to vote for Lewis, the two-time world champion said: “I couldn’t have done it without my amazing team.
“I want to thank my family. My dad worked four jobs at one stage just to get me go-karting. I never thought in a million years I would be up here standing with the greats.”
