Oh, Liam Gallagher. Remember when life was simple and all you had to do was play out your sibling rivalry with Noel via the medium of the tabloid front pages? When your only worries were accidently sitting on your John Lennon glasses or missing a hairdressing appointment to get your Paul Weller ‘do freshly trimmed?

Now it’s all people moaning at you for not meeting your 20-month-old love child and slamming your failed marriage to Nicole Appleton. Can’t you catch a break, Liam Gallagher?

Yeah, the former Oasis frontman is getting criticised again after apparently being spotted in a London pub the day after cancelling an important hearing in New York regarding his child support.

He reportedly told lawyers organising the deposition that he was too ill to fly out there last week, but was then – according to* Page Six* – seen watching the footy with some mates in a boozer the next day.

New York-based journalist Liza Ghorbani, who gave birth to Liam’s child last summer, has been fighting for him to meet the baby girl, with her lawyer telling Page Six: “Gallagher was supposed to be deposed last Friday, but his attorney filed an emergency application to the court because he was too ill to travel.

“It appears he has no great desire to be deposed.”

It looks like Liam might be waiting for his divorce from Nicole to come through before he can settle on child support, as he has apparently indicated that “Oasis is disbanded and his earnings are down, which is why he is reported to be selling off his homes in London and on Central Park South”, the lawyer added.

However, the singer’s legal team confirmed Liam HAD been unwell last week and said a new hearing and deposition have been scheduled for next Monday, “which he will attend”.

“We have exchanged financial information with Liza’s attorneys. It was vetted by accountants and was perfectly appropriate,” said his lawyer, Raoul Felder.
