Slightly meta celebrity news time now, and ever since we first reported on a video showing One Direction’s Liam Payne shoving Louis Tomlinson on stage in Manchester, we’ve been inundated with Directioners trying to set the record straight.

Liam even tweeted a link to our story that got retweeted nearly 100,000 times, which is mental. MENTAL.
We don't think many of those 100,000 read to the end of our original story, which pointed out that the boys were probs just mucking around and hitting each other in the balls, like all boyband members do. You know. Just like Take That and Boyzone used to do alllll the time.
Anyway, Liam seems have to have taken the whole thing pretty well, despite tweeting in all caps at first. We get scared when people tweet in all caps, you see.
Louis has been poking fun at the whole thing by tweeting ‘threats’* at Liam:
