After the shock reports last week that One Direction would be splitting for good and never returning again as a band after their 'break', it's fair to say that we were absolutely devvo.
Reports were released stating that One Direction were to be no longer after their break as none of them had renewed their contracts, and according to a close source to the band (as reported by Us Weekly) the "1D thing just ran its course. They'll remain friends, but they are exhausted and want solo careers".
But now Liam Payne has revealed to photographers that this might not be the case at all. On arrival at LAX airport last week, Liam revealed that the band WILL reunite after their break, according the the Mail Online.
Photographers asked if the band would be splitting for good, to which Liam responded with "Oh, no no no. No, we just got nominated for two BRITs".
And just when we thought Zayn Malik was out of the picture completely, Liam responded to questions whether Zayn would return with "Who knows? He's just doing his thing, he's fine". He also added when asked if he'd welcome Zayn back to the group; "Of course, I love Zayn he's great!". Hmmm.
So does this mean that we can look forward to Liam, Louis, Niall and Harry (and maybe even Zayn!) returning after their break? Who knows, but we sure do hope so!
