If you were watching Liam Payne’s X Factor performance last weekend and are wondering why he made such a quick exit, well we’ve got you covered. No, he didn’t need the loo, or totally mistime it.
Speaking to heatworld at the Pride of Britain awards, Liam told us it was what was SUPPOSED to happen.
“There were a lot of people saying things about my exit, but I was told to go that way - I can’t do anything other than what I’m told!”
He then joked that it was all because he had to go find girlfriend Cheryl who was shown beaming after the performance.
“I’ve got to go out and steal my woman back that’s how it is!”
As well as chatting about the performance, he also revealed that he was a bit gutted Simon Cowell wasn’t there, but had sent him a text beforehand.
“It was a shame Simon wasn’t there, I was gutted but he sent me a little text. There's a lot of love between us all,” he said, and then added that the X Factor judge is doing alright after his health scare: “Yeah he’s good he’s doing okay.”
X Factor aside, Liam also talked to us about his and Cheryl’s son, Bear, who has been getting dressed up this Halloween in all manner of costumes.
“He was dressed up as a little spider the other day, his nan dresses him up a lot, he was dressed up as a Pokemon,” he said. And then confirmed that, yes, Bear also does own a fair amount of bear outfits. “There’s a lot of love in the house at the moment.”
