Not content with making us choke on our choccie eggs by posting A PEEN grabbing selfieover the weekend, Liam Payne has sent his followers wild once again by posting a very cryptic snap of himself sat on a huge black car bonnet captioned 'A waiting game'.

Is he trying to kill us all? What on earth could this mean? Waiting for what? His new music? Could this be his new album title?

Record producer Zedd even fuelled the fire by commenting: 'The clock is ticking'.

Liam Payne's devoted fans flooded the comments pleading with Liam to stop teasing them and JUST GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT, WHAT THEY REALLY REALLY WANT.

"@zedd Are u in something with him? I NEED TO LISTEN TO LIAM RN"

"Yeah, I know that feeling, I'm still waiting for your album bb!"

And despite Liam's One Direction bandmate Harry Styles currently taking over the charts with his debut single Sign Of The Times, Liam has signed deals with Republic Records and Capitol last year and a source told the New York Post's Page Six earlier this month: "He should have a single out in May. Liam will be the last one."

Republic's CEO Monte Lipman is very confident that Liam's solo career will be MEGA: "Being a member of the most successful group of the last decade, Liam has a tremendous opportunity to make an even greater impact on pop culture.

"We're honored by Liam's decision to join Republic Records, and have extremely high expectations for his solo career."

But is Liam ready to escape the love bubble he's in with girlfriend Cheryl and their newborn baby boy...?
