Liam Payne is making sweet, sweet music and it’s coming soon

EXCITING

Cheryl and Liam

Liam Payne is living his best life in 2016.

The biggest Liam news of the year? The fact that he hooked up with Cheryl. The unlikely couple have been in a relationship since the start of this year officially, but this video could prove that they were dating as far back as The X Factor final 2015.

Check out those moves.

Chiam even released their very first Christmas card together, which is HILARIOUS.

The only downside to this year for Liam is the fact that his house stinks of eggs. LOL.

After 1D split up (SORRY "took a break"), we thought we might never hear from the boys again, but (nearly) every single one of them has treated us and started their own solo careers.

Harry reportedly signed to Columbia (and is starring in this INTENSE new Dunkirk trailer), Louis performed his new track on the X Factor final and Niall released This Town. Then there's Zayn and his incred debut album.

Liam has been keeping his new career in the DL until now, but something major just happened. And when we say major, we mean BIG.

Liam just registered a brand new solo song and it's called Myself.

Oooh, sounds deep. Maybe he'll spill on what's been going on with Cheryl over the past year?

The track is being written with Grammy nominated songwriters Emily Warren, Nick Monsoon and Scott Harris.

We knew Liam was in the studio after THESE Instagrams, but we didn't know a track was THIS close!

This news comes only days after Liam teased 1D fans on his #AskLiam Twitter Q&A, where he said One Direction would definitely be back.

We're not sure we can handle all this excitement.
