Lindsay Lohan posts “inspirational” Arabic quote to Instagram that actually means “Donkey”

This is why inspirational quotes on Instagram are just a bad idea.

Poor old Lindsay Lohan - she can't do anything right, can she?

First she came under fire for Photoshopping her Instagram pics - and now she's getting flack for posting inspirational quotes on there. To be fair, those inspirational quotes annoy us a bit when our mates put them up, but we'll forgive anyone who has spent any time in LA for this misdemeanour.

The actress was just trying to be nice to her Instagram followers, and post a heart-warming message to them all to make their dreary days a bit better - but it backfired a little bit.

Linds put up an Arabic quote (since deleted) that she thought meant "You're beautiful" - but as TMZ kindly pointed out - it actually means "donkey".

In poor Lindsay's defence, she was just the victim of a bit of hasty Google imaging - Defamer pointed out that the quote she used was the first image result for "you're beautiful Arabic".

And she deleted the image after her fans noticed the mistake - on and off Instagram:

We still love you Lindsay, but next time just use Google translate, OK?
