We’ve all been there, Li-Lo. Sort of.

What do you do when you’re a world-famous actress who just wants a standard night out with yer mates, but the powers-that-be won’t let you into the VIP area?

Well, if you’re anything like Lindsay Lohan, you take revenge in the best way ever.

Yep, heat was there last night at the Wonderland Magazine 10th anniversary party as Li-Lo tried to get into the super-exclusive area at London’s DRAMA club but got knocked back by the bouncers. Awkward…

An unhappy Lindsey marched towards the exit, but minutes later we spotted her dancing at a table full of champagne, vodka and mixers, in the roped area beside the DJ booth.

We then saw the Mean Girls star hanging by the DJ box offering to get on the decks, but it took five more minutes of her persistence before the organisers let her in. But she was forced to plug her phone into the decks and play her own mixtape as there weren’t any headphones. Double-awkward…

She was still determined to have some fun, so when it was model Phoebe Collings-James turn to DJ, she wasn’t quick to move aside. But when she spotted some familiar faces in the crowds, she grabbed the microphone and stood on a table to introduce the club to her friends from NYC.

After some dancing and a smoke, Lindsay was keen to get her own party started.

As a female DJ took to the decks, Li-Lo kept hold of the mic and that’s when the night really got interesting – it sparked a mic hunt.

Organisers, security and even Phoebe herself went up to Linds asking where the mic was. Onlookers saw her point to show where she last had the mic, and one told us: “I could see there was something mic-shaped tucked under her dress layers.”

Well, wherever it disappeared to, it must have been close to hand, as a bit later Lindsay used it to welcome more friends and she started lip-syncing along to Dr Dre's hit [feat. Eminem], Forgot About Dre.

Getting bounced out of VIP, chucking a real DJ out of their booth and nicking an actual piece of electrical equipment – it’s all in a night’s work for Li-Lo.
