Lindsay Lohan has been infiltrating our shores for some time now, like a particularly persistent strain of some kind of virus, and just she won’t seem to go away.

But that’s OK – we can’t really imagine the Chiltern Firehouse without Linds stumbling about inside it somewhere, sipping a virgin cocktail, or whatever it is she drinks these days.

Luckily for us Lindsay fans, she’s not going to be going anywhere soon.

DON'T MISS

"I can definitely see myself settling in London permanently," she told Hello!.

And would she apply for British citizenship? "If you'll have me, I will," she replied.

We wonder what Nigel Farage would have to say about this, eh? That’s a rather interesting question, isn’t it? Hey, Nige, are Hollywood types OK to stick around in your books, or…?

“I'm in a really good place,” Linds continued. “I'm blessed to have been able to do a play in London and start a different way of life.

"New York is very fast paced and it's not like that over here for me.”

We beg to differ when we’re being shunted along Tottenham Court Road station at 9am, but we’re guessing Linds doesn’t use the Northern Line in rush hour SO much.

"For me, I feel more comfortable working from London. And it is beautiful. The architecture is incredible and the parks are so nice,” she continued.

You can betcha that our parks are so nice, Lindsay.

"I also love exploring different cities and using London as a base means I can go to more places. That's really important to me," she finished.

We’re not sure a love of feeding the ducks and hopping on the Eurostar just because you want a baguette will get you a British passport, Lindsay, so best stick to that acting hobby you’ve got going on.
