We were all waiting for it to happen, weren’t we?
When we went CRAZY over Adele dropping her new single on us during the X Factor ad break last week, our first thought was: ‘OhhMeeGee Adele Is BACK! Wahoo! Finally some new material to tunefully cry to next time we get dumped!”
Well, actually, that was our second thought. Our actual first thought was “IS IT ME YOU’RE LOOKING FOR?!” because obviously that’s the natural reaction whenever somebody utters the word ‘hello.’
And it was clearly Lionel Richie’s reaction too, as the living legend took to Instagram to playfully respond to the similarities between Adele’s new number, and his 1983 same-titled single, Hello.
Lionel posted THIS amazing pic to Instagram, captioning it: “HELLO @adele is it me you're looking for... □ #hello”
He also posted this video clip to Insta which has been doing the rounds on the World Wide Web:
We just love it. All of it.

10 female celebrities with female empowering tattoos
10 female celebrities with female empowering tattoos, Tulisa, Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Lindsay Lohan, Adele, Demi Lovato, Sarah Harding
Cara Delevingne
This was tat no.16 for Miss Cara, who hired Los Angeles artist - Dr Whoo - to ink her. It's a coat of arms that features the letter 'D' - for 'Delevingne' we presume.
Demi Lovato
Demi debuted a ribcage tattoo [OUCH] of five lines of roman numerals. Each line of text appaz stands for a family member's birth date.
Rita Ora
This tat is supposed to represent that Rita and childhood friend, Anda, will be ballerinas until they're 102. Sweet.
Sarah Harding
The former Girls Aloud singer has the words 'don't be bitter - glitter' scrolled across her back. Well tatt'd, Sarah.
Lindsay Lohan
"Love, truth and power" is the definition of Li-Lo's tattoo. She wrote on her website: "Wanted you guys to see it first. Feeling good and love you
Lindsay Lohan - part 2
So many tatts we had to include her again. This forearm inking says, 'I restore myself when I'm alone'. Chill at home with a good book style.
Frankie Bridge
The footballer's wife got sentimental with her sister Victoria when they got matching dove tattoos on their ankles. Frankie tweeted: "Painful sister love by the awesome...Freddy Negrete."
Emma Stone
This one has extra sentimental value. Emma Stone got this tattoo to celebrate her mum beating cancer. It was also designed by Sir Paul McCartney himself. The design includes two black birds, which represent both her and her mum and stem from their favourite Beatles song, Blackbird.
Selena Gomez
Selena's tattoo artist, Bang Bang, explained: "The tattoo was a tribute to a family member who she said means a lot to her." The tattoo reads "LXXVI" which is the number 76. Selena's mother Amanda Teefey was born in 1976.
Rihanna
Aside from it being huge and under her boobs - this piece of permanent body art, represends a goddess and is in memory of her late grandmother. RiRi said: "Goddess Isis - Complete Woman - Model for future generations #GRANGRANDOLLY - always in and on my heart." Lovely and sentimental.
Lana Del Rey
On her right hand she has the words 'Trust no one' and on the other, the word 'Paradise'. Independent, strong, but maybe trust some people though, eh Lana?
Jessie J
On her right wrist Jessie has 'Stand Up' inked with a heart. We're guessing it's something to do about standing up for what you believe/stand up and be stronge/when you're knocked down stand back up again? Either way, we like.
Tulisa Contostavlos
To celebrate T's 27th birthday today, we've found 15 other female celebrities with strong, positive, inspiring tattoos. Here's Tulisa's 'The Female Boss' one to kickstart the occasion...
Adele
Another mum-related tattoo here - but who doesn't love their mum? Adele has 'One Penny' tattooed on her wrist. The singer's mum's name is Penny, so it must be because of that. Aww.
Sienna Miller
Sienna's permanent red carpet accessory comes in the shape of three little stars on her right shoulder. They are said to symbolise love, honour and trust.
Lady GaGa
'Born This Way' is a dead giveaway and totally describes Lady GaGa. We're translating this as; celebrate who you are and don't worry about who's watching.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini
And this one...just because.
